These are some of the methods and platforms we use for our DND strategies and we would love to hear from you about your own way of running your business. Here is an introduction to these different ways to run a successful online business.
Shopify.com is an online store management platform. It makes it easy to build and manage your website, apps, and even Etsy stores. Shopify is a very well-developed platform. There is a very dedicated community behind it, and they have released some very useful tools that will help you run your online business successfully. It is also free to use, and easy to get started with.
Pros: Shopify is easy to use, free to use, and has some of the most useful features out there. Everything you need is right there. And, Shopify takes care of it all so you don’t need to worry about it.
Cons: Although it is very well developed, and pretty useful, it can be confusing at times to figure out what’s the best way to do things. It can be tricky to figure out what to put on each step of your overall process and how to use each tool to its fullest. Also, it can be pretty difficult to get familiar with all the different tools out there, especially if you have more than one.
Build Your Ultimate Marketing Strategy
I mentioned earlier that this is a great time to get familiar with your social media channels to see what makes the most sense to have on each step of your marketing process. If you are not familiar with what each one does, it is a great time to start learning, so you will be prepared to use each to its fullest potential.
Use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, and YouTube to:
Build brand awareness. Brand awareness gives your business a sense of security and the confidence to grow.
Build relationships. Make connections with influencers who can drive traffic.
Find out what your target audience wants. What do they like to do? What would help them? If you don’t know this, or even if you do, ask. Ask for feedback, and offer to help find it. Make sure your audience knows that you are listening, and providing what they want.
Customer service. People expect you to be at their service with any question or concern.
Make sales. Selling your products is easy – sell them your services.
Find out what information your target audience would really love to have on hand. What does their family want to know about you, your business, your products, and the possibilities in between?
Learn How To Plan Your Marketing Plan
Now that you have the basics of your plan sorted out, you can begin to build it into a detailed marketing plan. The basic idea is to have a “feel-out” phase for your outreach. Figure out who your audience is, what kind of content you need to create, and how you will get it out there. The goal is to find out what direction you need to take to get a response.
When brainstorming this, note that not all responses come from the audience you are marketing to, so be specific in what you want to discuss and why. This may not fit with your existing routine, but you may get some interesting results if you simply stick to the strategy that feels right for your audience.
